Watch the whole game last night, great that LFC rival only managed a draw. So was quite tired when waking up this morning. Luckily, Work was quite lax today, but will be at full force from tomorrow onwards.
Today is also the first day of Lunar 7th month, saw alot of people burning incense. I will be one of them too, so have to rush back from work to offer prayers....
Waited for my wife to come back , and off we go downstairs to burn the joss paper. Quite a number of people were there too, but i think we are the only young guys there. Its a tradition that I believe in, and it was passed down from my late mum, so I will have to keep in going.
Looking forward to the "Ge Tai" and the "Bidding", it brings back fond memories of my childhood.
Just don't know why some people will complain about the noise or the event.... Are we now living in our own world? Too much education?
LAst time, the 7th month period are much more bustle than CNY. The Past is the best..... such cohesiveness and forgiveness are gone.
These are traditions, culture and "education" that had to be preserved.....
